Normally, any product that comes out that has a lower-case “i” starting its name gets my immediate disdain. The iJet 2 Way Remote from ABT, however, gets a well-deserved pass (via OhGizmo!). This remote allows you to control your iPod wirelessly from over 150 feet away, including through walls and ceilings. But that’s not all, Dear Watson; not by a long-shot.
The iJet 2 Way Remote is just that: Bi-Directional. Not only can you control your iPod wirelessly, but you also receive back track and artist information from the iPod, which is then displayed on the remote control’s built-in LCD screen. Impressive indeed! No word yet on pricing. Expect to see the 2 Way Remote sometime in first quarter 2006.
