usb winxpYou have 3000 apps installed in Windows. You know without a doubt that if you install one more, your computer will melt-down into a pile of plastic and metal. However, you need this cool new app running and really want it on a clean install of Windows. What do you do? Bart PE Builder let’s you do what no one thought possible – boot Windows XP from a USB device (with at least 256 MB of RAM). Truthfully, this tool is really intended on getting you setup with a CD or USB device that can run a stripped down version of Windows with utilities that can help you recover from disaster. However, with USB Drives increasing in size while decreasing in price, it’s quite possible that you could load a 1GB or higher USB stick with Windows and a few apps – giving you what you need and saving your PC from eminent meltdown.
