PVR Wire Interviews Aaron DeYonker and Asks about His "Bring it On" Comment to Apple
At the end of last month we linked to Think Secret’s, now notoriously popular article, “Reborn Mac mini set to take over the living room.” Where they state that a hybrid Mac mini device running a beefed of version of Front Row with DVR functionality will supplant Microsoft’s digital home domination in the very near future – with the device most likely being introduced at the next Macworld Expo in San Francisco, January 9-13, 2006. To his credit, Aaron DeYonker, a Project Manager for Media Center Edition at Microsoft, quickly responded in our forums: “Bring it On.” His comment was basically nothing more than an invitation to Apple to bring their best efforts forward (confident in that Microsoft was years ahead of them in development). As you can imagine, Aaron got some flack for publicly stating his thoughts, but his interactions with the blogging community has lead to an interesting interview at PVR Wire.
