Unlimited Online Storage Through Allmydata.com

allmydata logoUsing Peer-to-Peer technology, Allmydata.com provides users with a unique way to backup your important data through an online service (via Red Ferret). The service is free if you agree to allow storage at a 10 to 1 ratio. In other words, if you provide 10GB of storage, you get back 1GB online. While this may seem like a poor trade-off, consider this: 10GB of storage on your local PC is still prone to hardware failure and thus, still losing your information.

Allmydata is also setting up paid plans where a monthly fee will adjust your sharing ratio. For $2.99 a month, you get a 1 to 1 ratio. If you’re just not keen on sharing your storage, you can get the online storage without sharing by paying $4.99 a month for 10Gb, $9.99 for 100Gb or $29.99 for a full 1000Gb of storage. These plans are not yet available, so we’ll keep an eye out for when they are offered.

Nowadays there are so many programs of this kind. Take a look at this online storage service which provides secure storage, backup and sharing solutions as a single entity.

It has been rated as the best service of its kind by PC Magazine for subsequent years. When it comes on pricing, the end user has to pay only for the online storage space and not for the applications offered.
