MicroLink dLAN Audio

microlink dlan audioWhat do you guys think of this? MicroLink has released a Low/High-tech streaming audio solution of sorts based on HomePlug technology called the MicroLink dLAN Audio (via TRFJ). Each dLAN adapter features audio input/output sockets that let you wire it to any RCA equipped audio device. In addition, each adapter has the ability to output audio from four separate channels using a Windows Media Player or Winamp plugin provided by the company.

MicroLink claims “[dLAN] can be plugged into any power socket in the house, and communicates with any number of music sources over your existing household power circuit: With the HiFi in the living room or the multi-media PC in your study; with Internet radio or with an MP3 file server – any sound source can be streamed anywhere in the house.” Sounds like a winner… especially if you’re the type of person who prefers to manage your whole-home audio from one central location and want a true plug and play product with little to no learning curve (Bonus!).
