Getting Video Content on Your iPod with Videora iPod Converter

videoraIf you are a new owner of a fifth generation iPod (like me) and you want video-goodness to show off to your friends – who are still stuck in the ancient fourth generation – then you should take a look at the tutorial put together by the guys at Hack A Day. The tutorial shows you how to use Videora iPod Converter, made by the guys who brought you PSP Video 9.

Being a 5G’er (the cool term for us iPod Video owners), I can tell you that Videora iPod Converter works great – but iTunes will only sync videos created with the SP/320×240/768Kbps Stereo/128Kbps profile. The H.264 profiles don’t sync to the iPod. Also, Videora had no problem converting all of my DivX, XviD and MPEG-2 video files. Performance was a little better than real-time and it’s easy to queue up multiple files for conversion. The best part of it all? Videora iPod Converter is 100% free (although donations are appreciated).
