Dell Media Loving M140 & E310 PCs to be Released Today
Dell, the ever-growing, ever-evolving leading PC manufacturer will release two new media-centric PCs (1 laptop, 1 desktop) today (via Engadget). The XPS M140 and the Dimension E310 will sport Windows XP Media Center Edition and Dell Media Direct 2.0, a feature that lets you access media content from the computer without having to boot to the Operating System. The M140 will feature a 14.1″ widescreen display, 4 USB ports, Firewire, S-Video Out, a 5 in 1 card reader and hi-def audio support. Hooray for audiophiles! Only the E310 will support a tv tuner upgrade – so those hoping to use the laptop as their personal VCR killer need to look elsewhere.
The M140 will start at $999 wihle the Dimension E310 starts at $599.
