RSSRadio – Podcast Client for Windows

rssradio screenshotI can’t remember where I came across a link for this Windows podcast tool, but it looks pretty cool. The feature that really caught my eye was the built-in BitTorrent client – very nice. Here’s a list of all of the features of RSSRadio:

  • easy to use yet powerful Graphical User Interface with context sensitive help
  • built in BitTorrent client
  • comprehensive control over playlists and podcast metadata
  • Integration with iTunes, Windows Media Player and jRiver Media Center
  • Right-Click subscribe from Internet Explorer and Firefox
  • Advanced plug-in object model architecture allows developers to expand and even replace parts of RSSRadio’s functionality.
  • Multiple integrated Podcast Directories
  • Advanced iPod features – show notes transferred and podcasts made bookmarkable
  • Interrupted downloads begin where they left off

I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet but if I like it I will let you know. It seems to have a lot of nice features but still has a clean looking interface. I’m currently using Doppler but I ‘m looking for a new client because it has this annoying habit of downloading old podcasts that I have already played and deleted.

Know of any other good podcast clients I should try?

I’ve tried all the clients out there including ipodder lemon and Doppler, and RSSRadio is the only one that could do everything I needed a client to do. I’m syncing a SanDisk player to WMP and modifying the ID3 tags on the fly so the audio files end up in a nice directory tree on the SanDisk. I even paid for it.
