Ever Green EG-D770X Multi-Format Portable DVD Player

Usually we don’t cover portable DVD players due to the fact that they only support a limited number of A/V formats, however, Ever Green’s new EG-D770X player is a notable exception (via Akihabara News). The 22 ounce, 7-inch TFT screen player supports DivX, XviD, AVI, MPEG-1/2/4, DVD-VIDEO, VCD, CD, MP3 (32-320Kbps), WMA (48-350Kbps), JPEG, HDCD, and others (if you can believe that). So, if none the current hard drive-based portable media players catch your fancy, the EG-D770X is a compelling alternative. BTW, you can only pick it up Japan (damn).
