Evergreen IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter Cable

Need extra storage for when you’re on the go or just have an extra IDE drive laying around that you would like to use for external storage? A Japanese company called Evergreen has designed an IDE to USB 2.0 adapter (DN-IDE3525) cable that lets you externally connect any 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drive or CD/DVD drive to a PC (via Gizmodo). The only concern when taking this approach, however, is figuring out a way to protect your drives from damage. But hey… this gives you an excuse for case modding at a smaller level.
UPDATE: Amazon has a few of these IDE/USB 2.0 style adapters on their site.
