Logitec NetPocket NAS Server Line

Logitec NetPocket NAS ServerA Japanese company named Logitec, not to be confused with Logitech of America, will be releasing the LHD-LAN300, LHD-LAN250, and LHD-LAN160 NAS (Networked Attached Storage) servers for home and small business use in Japan starting this June. The servers, which come in 300GB/250GB/160GB hard drive capacities, can easily backup critical or shared information from multiple PCs on a LAN (Local Area Network), function as an FTP server (access stored files from the Internet), and offer print server capabilities for all attached PCs.

Other notable features of the NetPocket server line, is that the servers work in both Apple and Windows OS environments, offer 3 USB ports for connecting additional NAS servers (up to 3) or peripherals (flash carder reader, digital camera, etc.), and are designed to be ultra quiet for in-room use (fanless, plus drives go into sleep mode when not in use).
