Sony LF-X1 & LF-X5 to Arrive this Fall – Wireless TV/Internet Touch Panel


LocationFree TVReports of a Sony wireless TV/Internet touch panel made the news a few months back, but today Sony confirms the product, which is now called “LocationFree TV” (previously called “Air Board”), with an expected arrival to the U.S. this Fall.

Feature Highlights:
2 Models (both require their own base station):
* LF-X1 (12.1-inch, 800 x 600 SVGA LCD panel)
* LF-X5 (7-inch, 800 x 480 WVGA)
802.11a/g wireless connectivity
Advanced QoS (Quality of Service) for reliable audio/video transmissions
Built in speakers, Memory Stick® media slot, and Type II Compact Flash slot
On-screen Universal Remote and Keyboard
