Philips Streamium 23PF9976i FlatTV – Wi-Fi Enabled HDTV

On the heels of the Sharp AQUOS Wireless TV, Philips will soon be introducing the Streamium 23PF9976i FlatTV. According to a “draft” press release we discovered, the Streamium TV will feature a 23-inch diagonal widescreen LCD display and a built-in 802.11g Wi-Fi card for streaming MPEG-1/4 video, JPEG images, and play MP3 music directly from a variety of Internet content providers. Streamium TVs will also feature PC Link technology, providing viewers the ability to link wirelessly to a local or home PC.
The HDTV LCD panel (1280 X 768) monitor will include Philips Digital Crystal Clear™ enhancement technology, a unique package of picture innovations including Comb filter, Dynamic Contrast, Color Enhancement and Luminance Transient Improvement. The 23PF9976i will be available in the third quarter 2004 with an MSRP of $2,699.
