Here’s a device that almost got it right. The Creative Labs SoundBlaster Wireless Music adapter can stream your PC’s MP3 and WMA digital music over an 802.11b/g wireless network to a connected stereo in your house. Moreover, its innovative RF remote control with 5 way navigation buttons and built-in LCD screen display–think iPod display–can show you track, genre, and playlist information from 100-feet away. Over all, the device works well, but it is plagued with long load times. Users have reported that it takes a few seconds to a few minute to accomplish simple tasks like loading a large playlist (1000+ MP3s) or selecting a genre with a large number of MP3s to play randomly.
