PRISMIQ MediaPlayer

The MediaPlayer streams almost any type of digital file: audio (MP3, MP2, AC3, WAV), video (MPEG-1/2/4), photos (JPG, GIF, BMP), and even Internet radio (Shoutcast and WMA Internet radio). Moreover, you can use the built-in web browser to surf the web and chat with your friends with AOL Messenger – wireless keyboard optional.

Setup of this device is pretty straightforward; all one needs to do is install PRISMIQ’s MediaManager Windows-compliant software on any PC with media files and the MediaPlayer will detect the computers on the home network. The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer can connect to a home network via Ethernet or any of the three current Wi-Fi standards (802.11 b/a/g) using a PCMCIA card.

Accessing you files couldn’t be easier; PRISMIQ has designed an excellent TV interface that lets you manage and navigate your media content with the included remote. Furthermore, PRISMIQ promises future functionality like Personal Video Recording (PVR) and next-generation broadband-enabled services – all by free software updates.
